The reason why the room was pink was because on black and white film, hues of red become dark shades of black. Pink is the perfect balance to give it that dark creepy grey.

This is a merging between two black and white photographs that I printed from the original negatives. I hand coloured the flowers with vintage photo oils and then hand cut both images into strips to combine them.
I really like this effect.
